PALO SANTO, OR PAU SANTO, IS THE WOOD TAKEN FROM THE BURSERA GRAVEOLENS TREE, ONE OF THE MOST FRAGRANT IN THE WORLD, TO WHICH MEDICINAL PROPERTIES AND EXCEPTIONAL ENERGY QUALITIES ARE ATTRIBUTED. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE OLDEST TRIBES OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA KNEW AND RECOGNIZED THE HEALING PROPERTIES OF THE WOOD OF PAU SANTO, AND FOR THAT REASON THEY USED IT TO TREAT WOUNDS, APPLYING ASHES FROM THE BURNT TREE, OR TO TREAT PROBLEMS OF STOMACH, BOILING ITS PEEL IN WATER AND DRINKING THIS TEA. PAU SANTO IS COMPOSED, AMONG OTHER SUBSTANCES, BY LIMONENE, WHICH HAS A STRONG CAPACITY OF PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL CLEANING, BECAUSE IT IS A SOLVENT (DISSOLVES ALL DIRT AND NEGATIVITY). Pau Santo, a naturally aromatic wood, is composed of three main substances:
1) Limoneno
Helps reduce anxiety and stimulates creativity.

How to use: As it burns slowly, you should keep setting the wood on fire, keeping it burning for about 30 seconds before going out. Once you have released the smoke from the wood, walk around the room you want to purify, taking the smoke to all corners of the room. Keep positive thoughts and mentalize good wishes. To purify yourself, repeat the burning process and spread the smoke from head to toe, staying upright during the process. If the smoke disappears during the purification, repeat the burning process and continue to spread the smoke.
